Overview:

Over a vacation, I took the Google UX Design Certificate course on Coursera. The course teaches multiple aspects of UX design and the steps to conduct them.

Below are two projects.
Cutomizer
Cutomizer is a phone case customization and ordering website.

Customization has become progressively more prevalent — customizable jerseys, shoes, paintings, mugs, and even figurines. Since smartphones are also prevalent, I immediately connected the two and designed a customization website for phone cases with an ordering interface.

The main goal was to design an intuitive interface for people to design their phone cases on the website. It provides realistic previews and fair rules — for example, extra layers require extra fees — that ideally make the experience fun and satisfying.

Moreover, I had the idea to incorporate a "community" branch into the website (second image from left). It is for users to upload their designs whether or not they wish to order. Either way, they can provide designs for other users to freely purchase for themselves.
Avancarta
Avancarta is a ordering system in restaurants for customers to order without problems.

Avancarta is a system to help you order food. It recommends dishes you may be interested in and tells you how long it may take for the restaurant to prepare the meal. It also shows accurate images, an estimate of the number of people your order may satisfy, and a preview of your table once the restaurant serves all the dishes.
